Pancasila is the official philosophical foundation if the Indonesian state. Pancasila consists of two sanskrit words, “panca’ meaning five, and “sila” meaning principles. 65 years ago, June 1st 1945, Indonesia first president Mr.Soekarno was announced in a speech known as “The Birth of the Pancasila” that Pancasila as “Dasar Negara” (philosophical foundation/political philosophy of Indonesian state).
